Doc is teaching Biology and Environmental
Science at Hudson Falls High School in the foothills of the Adirondacks.
He also runs a high school Outdoors Club that hikes, rafts, and climbs
throughout the Southern Adirondacks, and who do conservation work
on local trails. While he still rock and ice climbs, paddles (and
guides) whitewater, and volunteers as a Climbing Ranger in the Cascades,
he still considers the most dangerous time of his life to be that
spent working construction for Birdie and Zuber. (Do you believe he
wrote that?!) |

After working as a scientific
journalism intern, conservation technician, REI cashier, GIS intern,
and prescribed burn crew technician, Mandy has decided she's ready
for something entirely new. Law school. She is most interested in
natural resources and environmental law. Being a desert rat at heart, Mandy has chosen to go to school in
Albuquerque . During
her spare time she looks forward to great rockclimbing, telemark skiing
and backpacking in the southwest (gotta love the hotsprings!).
UPDATE: Life is hectic in law school although Mandy hasn't found as much time for her outdoor pursuits she has found Roland, a stray kitten who likes to retrieve socks. She works part-time in the law library and as an REI cashier for fun. |
